Piewatch Sgt Wolfbanger….Do you actually hold a rank in the armed forces and should the RSPCA be concerned? If not were did the name come from?
No, Sgt Wolfbanger does not hold a rank in the armed forces, however he heads a rogue militia that fights for the right to party. The RSPCA actually funds the militia (it doesn’t). As for where the name came from, it was found written on a scroll in a treasure chest buried in a Bavarian forest Mike was being chased through in a dream.
Piewatch Describe your music in 3 words?
Wholesome, organic and genuine
Piewatch Who do you like currently in the charts?
Metro Station, White Lies, Kings of Leon the usual suspects really but we tend to listen to less mainstream music individually.
Piewatch Which band member gets all the attention, why do you suspect this is?
Mike. The reason for this is, because people see him and suspect him to be one of our younger brothers. Damn he’s so cute!!!
Piewatch Any unusual musical influences?
Rob is a massive Rolling Stones fan and in fact models himself on Keith Richards (he actually thinks he is Keith Richards after a few beers!).
Dan consistently tries to copy the style of the Tibetan Monks that can use two voice boxes to sing.
Mike tries to replicate the sound of an 18 volt power drill when writing new guitar riffs. However we feel he never really gets this sound.
We call Gaz Trance Master Flash back stage after his massive love for any trance music. He does love a good rave!
Nath has an unhealthy obsession with Phil Collins and should just stop playing the drum beat from the Cadbury’s advert. “D – dum – d –dum-d-dum-de-dum-dum-dum”
Piewatch Elvis dead or alive?
We saw him playing in a pub in Crewe last week, but we did think he looked a bit different. No one seemed as surprised to see him as we did.
Piewatch If you could have any superpower, what would it be?
The power to remove bad music from the public domain while keeping a perfectly straight P-P-P-Pokerface.
Piewatch Any irrational phobias?
Gaz has a phobia of any music that is less than 200bpm, this means he is continuously on edge and petrified while we are on stage.
Nath has a phobia of sponges even though he is obsessed with cleaning his car and uses one every week!
Piewatch If you got financed tomorrow what would be the first thing you spent it on?
We would buy on to a tour, buy a van and get out there an play some funk music ready for the release of our album!
