  1. fair enough there are a lot of descriptive words here but there are a fair few that would annoy me if people used them.. i dont wanna know if my playing is “tenacious” or “ominous” to be quite honest.. still this could help some scouts who dont even get near this level at all with their “nice” descriptive work.

    Yey! Another very resourceful contribution from the always helpful Pie Watch Team. This is really useful and I’m sure it’s going to help scouts and artists and will raise review standards. Think STP should be paying you guys for such valid and informative articles ;)

    @Toby – Each word should be used in context, and only when relevant. Example – you may not wish to have ‘your’ music described as ominous, but a ‘dark and ominous bassline’ might be acceptable for a D&B/Grime artist. Horses for courses my friend; this isn’t pic&mix..haha
